The CMI (Chartered Management Institute) confirms that all ACCA members who have completed the ACCA qualification are eligible for both CMI membership and CMI’s qualified route to gaining the Chartered Manager (CMgr) award.
　　Achieving the highest level career aspirations is high on the agendas of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) members. In order to fully progress in their careers, members need to continue to develop their technical competence, strategic vision and leadership skills.
　　ACCA has been working with CMI (the Chartered Management Institute) to promote the benefits of CMI membership to ACCA members. ACCA has recognised the need of providing practical support to help members fulfil their management and leadership development training needs by working with the CMI.
　　Helen Brand, ACCA chief executive officer, said: 'ACCA’s collaboration with CMI allows our members with ambitions to acquire management and leadership qualifications to do just that. By working together, ACCA is able to align the needs of members aspiring to achieve the hallmark of any professional manager.'
　　'The Chartered Manager award has been well received by the profession for good reason. We welcome this news with enthusiasm as members who apply to become a CMgr will benefit from a substantial reduction in their annual membership fees as well as being able to provide evidence that they have a high level of management skills through obtaining the Chartered Manager award.'
