1. 分意群：

2. 定属性、调语序：
①过去分词... + “,” + 主句，为过去分词作状语，逻辑主语与主句一致，表示“被......”；Asked whether...，当被问及是否......
 ②and 的并列成分，前后是一致的；
第 1 个 and，后面是名词性成分 data analysis in scientific research，所以与前面相同
的名词性成分 the application of statistics 并列；
第 2 个 and，后面是系动词 is，所以与前面最近的系动词或谓语动词并列，前面最近的谓语动词为 was motivated by，所以 was motivated by...与 is part of Science’s..并列；
③名词 + to do，to do 作后置定语，也可直接理解为“去......”；drive to increase reproducibility，增加可复制性......的驱动力；
④名词性成分 1 + 名词性成分 2（通常为代词，或有冠词 the 等）+ 谓语动词，为省略 that 的定语从句，名词性成分 2 开始为定语从句部分；
