　　Important changes for CPA Program and Practice Management candidates
 
　　Semester one results will look different to previous semesters as we move to a scaled scoring system. The scaled scoring system does not affect the outcome of your exam. The examination process is your opportunity to demonstrate your competency, and the level of competency required to pass each segment has not changed with the introduction of scaled scoring. CPA Australia does not fail a set percentage of candidates, nor do we report or calculate scores as a percentage. The exam result you will receive on the 27 June is an accurate reflection of your understanding of the segment.
 
　　Previously you received your results as a grade with a Personal Analysis Letter (PAL). You will now receive your results as a grade along with a scaled score that better indicates how you performed in your exam. You will also receive online access to a Candidate Exam Report which helps you understand your performance against each of the topic areas. Your results and report will remain online for you to access anytime.
 
　　Your official transcripts will be sent to you via post from Melbourne, Australia by Friday 11 July. Please allow up to four weeks from this date for your transcript to be delivered. Exam result letters will not be mailed this semester, and results are not available by SMS.
